Laboratory and research

In the Merlett laboratory, experiments are carried out on the guaranteed lifespan of products and tests are conducted on their technical features, such as their flexibility/curving; resistance to pressure; electrical characteristics; and resistance to heat/cold, UV rays, knocks, chemical substances, flames, bending and crushing.

In addition to an air conditioning system, the laboratory also has a room that is kept at a constant temperature of 23°C and another that ranges between -10°C and -35°C, depending on the required temperatures for the tests.
